Overview
- This qualification reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
- As well as assuming responsibility for their own performance, individuals at this level are likely to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They may also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.
- They apply solutions to a defined range of predictable and unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.
ARC Training Entry Requirements
- Be an existing worker in the industry;
- Have 12 months work experience or hold a Certificate III level qualification in Business;
- Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and achieve ACSF level 4 across all domains
- Provide your Unique Student Identifier (USI)
- Have reasonable digital literacy skills to participate in an online classroom environment

Delivery Mode
The BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management is offered as a workplace hybrid model.
Workplace hybrid is a blended delivery of online classroom attendance and workplace activities. Students must be working in the industry to enrol.
Each unit of competency will be delivered over four weeks, and students must attend a digital 2-hour session per unit.
