Overview
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. It is likely that these individuals are establishing their own work performance.
Individuals in these roles carry out a range of routine procedural, clerical, administrative or operational tasks that require technology and business skills. They apply a broad range of competencies using some discretion, judgment and relevant theoretical knowledge. They may provide technical advice and support to a team.
ARC Training Entry Requirements
- Be an existing worker in the industry;
- Be at least 15 years old;
- Complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment and achieve ACSF level 3 across all domains
- Provide your Unique Student Identifier (USI), or consent to ARC to apply for a USI on your behalf.
- Have reasonable digital literacy skills to participate in an online classroom environment

Students will complete 40 weeks of training during a 12-month period. *
*Subject to public holidays and RTO closure periods.
Work Placement
Students must complete 120 hours of work placement in a care facility. This may be completed in your current workplace if appropriate.
Delivery Mode
The BSB30120 Certificate III in Business is offered as a workplace hybrid model.
Workplace hybrid is a blended delivery of online classroom attendance and workplace activities. Students must be working in business services, administration, or office roles to enrol.
Each unit of competency will be delivered over three weeks, and students must attend a digital 2-hour mandatory session and 2-hour tutorial per unit (four hours total across each unit).
